Sansevieria (Snake Plant)
As one of the most popular and hardy houseplants, the Sansevieria (Snake Plant) is an easy to grow and care for houseplant. Almost indestructible, they thrive in bright light or very dark spots in your house. The Snake Plant's sword-like leaves vary in color and size, ranging from 6" to 8' tall with variegated green banding and yellow borders.

Spathiphyllum (Peace Lily) is a popular, easy-to-care for houseplant with large glossy leaves and long flowering stems that produce beautiful white flowers. The Peace Lily thrives in bright filtered light but will also grow in low light to shade. It prefers a well-draining soil and average house temperatures.

Aglaonema is an incredibly tough and easy to care for houseplant. It thrives in medium to low light conditions or filtered sunlight. Varieties include rich green leaves tinged with silver, white pink and red. If you're a beginner, this plant is for you.

Epipremnum (Pothos)
Extremely popular and easy to grow, Pothos tolerates low light and the occasional missed watering. It has a trailing, vining habit which makes it perfect for a shelf. If you're just starting out with houseplants, Pothos is an excellent choice.

Peperomia (Radiator plant)
With so many varieties to choose from, what's not to like about the Peperomia plant. With it's unique foliage available in various colors and textures, peperomias require very little attention. There are selections for both high and low light locations and all only need water when the soil is dry. They are also relatively pest and insect free.

Zamioculcas is an incredibly tough, easy-care and low-maintenance houseplant requiring very little care for the novice gardener. Don't worry if you forget to water the ZZ plant as it grows from rhizomes that store water under the soil. All they need is adequate light and a good watering every few weeks.

Succulents
Succulents are plants that store water in their leaves, helping them to survive in arid climates. As such, this makes them an easy-care houseplant requiring only a bright location and very infrequent watering. With thousands of choices in various textures and colors, they will forgive the forgetful gardener and keep on keeping on.
